As a Marketing Coordinator at BMS United you will be joining an international team of a truly global organisation. You will be working for one of the most forward thinking and creative brands of the shipping industry, while being involved in all design and B2B marketing activities of the organization, in diverse markets across the globe.

You will be working with a cross-functional team handling various branding, PR, event management, CSR, and marketing projects, either internally or in collaboration with award-winning agencies, and you will also be providing administrative support and assistance to the marketing department.

Creativity will be key for your success in this role. Your ability to support our small communications team by creating impeccable content (visual communication or copywriting), as well as being able to contribute to translating marketing and branding strategies into clear creative ideas and concepts, to fuel innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences, is of outmost importance for this role.

Your job is to demonstrate how our exclusive services offer our partners reliable solutions, enhance our business relationships, and support our sales team, while keeping up with the exceptional reputation our marketing team has throughout the shipping industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate award-winning content: Illustrations, video, and copy
• Generate and visualize clear ideas and concepts
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
• Create well designed and engaging presentations based on business insights
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Present completed ideas to team members
• Support our sales team by providing them with insights and an inventory of flawless presentations, other marketing material and promotional gifts
• Manage and delegate responsibilities to design agencies and provide directions
• Create briefs, provide insights, and evaluate deliverables of creative projects such as video production, photo shootings and graphic design
• Media and PR support, including press releases and content generation
• Updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation and databases
• Website and various online platforms management and update
• Event support. Trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, seminars etc.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of marketing campaigns in various channels

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design or in a communications team
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Advanced use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and other design software
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Excellent eye for detail
• Profound understanding of the creative process with proven experience in providing insights and managing creative projects
• Proven working experience in marketing automation platforms
• Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English with strong copywriting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication
• Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, global sales environment across multiple time zones and teams
• Be a self-starter with an ability to own projects and work independently
